Finance Controller

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller who will help us set up our finances so they can keep pace with our growth and for someone who is not afraid to work across the company, can map and understand processes, establish financial governance, bring structure to reporting, and help us automate everything that makes sense.

What you will do

  • At the beginning, you will map and understand processes across the company.
  • You will establish and standardize management reporting and controlling.
  • You will implement monthly financial closing processes and oversee their execution.
  • You will prepare regular reporting for management and investors.
  • You will align the structure of analytical accounts, Jira projects, and financial reporting.
  • You will identify manual accounting and financial processes and propose their automation.
  • You will evaluate suitable tools and integrations that can help us improve financial efficiency.
  • You will perform monthly transaction reconciliations and monitor data consistency.
  • You will provide management with financial data, analyses, and recommendations for decision-making.

Simply put, you will be responsible for ensuring that financial data at DecisionRules is accurate, understandable, and provides management and investors with a clear view of how the company is performing. 🚀


How we imagine you

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar financial role.
  • You understand financial and management reporting, controlling, and working with financial data.
  • You are able to take ownership of your area of responsibility and drive initiatives from analysis through implementation.
  • You are comfortable working with numbers and details while also being able to see the bigger picture.
  • You can communicate with people across the company and obtain the information you need to do your job.
  • You have a proactive approach, are not afraid to suggest changes, and actively look for ways to improve things.
  • You have a communicative level of English (ideally C1+) for working with documentation and communicating with colleagues and investors.


Nice to have

  • Experience in a SaaS, software development, or technology company.
  • Experience with investor reporting or executive reporting.
  • Experience with financial process automation and implementing new tools.
  • Knowledge of Stripe or subscription-based business models.
